Talent development and Discovery

Talent development through sporting and cultural activities especially arts and music helps in child care, rehabilitation and transformation by:

Complementing formal education and general rehabilitation as co-curricular activities for physical and emotional health.
Building self-esteem and confidence among the destitute children under rehabilitation.
Participation in creative arts including dance and music performances serves as therapy for children who have come from difficult and abusive backgrounds.
Enabling targeted children to discover their career potentials in specific talents and opportunities to strengthen the same for future livelihood.
Promotion of child participation in community education through arts and presentations on child rights, responsibilities and child protection.

Education

All children under our care are guaranteed proper education and good learning materials which are donated either by the community or other well wishers. The church Shekinah Kenya in Kisumu has been a strong pillar to the children by ensuring all orphans are offered an opportunity to get education and also support with uniforms, books and other requirement for the purpose of learning.

Health and Nutritional

The organization ensures all the children get on a daily basis a good and well balance meal. We depend on well wishers to assist us with foods. All in all with the help of the churches and the locals the organization has elaborate plans to ensure their produce some of the required foods within the organizations.

We have employed well trained personnel and cooks to ensure our kids are fed well prepared foods and the cooking paces are kept clean and orderly.

Social and Security Protection

We offer social support and protect to children by providing shelter and other basic human needs like clothing and food. We also do counselling and guidance to the children especially those who lost their parents or guardians on HIV/AIDS.

All social workers are trained on how to handle children and ensure they are guided on a proper way of living.

Joynest was started way back in 2015 Wycliffe and his church started by faith to help these kids.Located Oyugis in Nyanza. Most of them lost all their family and relatives, mostly due to HIV/Aids. Ranging from 4 to 15 years of age and many of them have HIV/Aids.
